Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the provision of technical support and repair services ("Services") by Buckeye Technical Solutions ("we," "us," or "our"), a sole proprietorship in Central Ohio. By engaging our Services, scheduling an appointment, purchasing a subscription plan, or making payment, you ("you," "your," or "Customer") agree to be bound by these Terms. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and any description of Services or benefits in marketing materials, website content, or other communications, the description on the invoice or written order confirmation issued at the time of purchase shall control.
We offer repair, optimization, troubleshooting, and support services for computers, phones, gaming systems, home networks, and related devices. Services may be provided remotely (via phone, email, or remote access tools like TeamViewer), in-person at your location, or via pickup/drop-off at our facility. Specific subscription plans (Basic Remote Plan, Premium Plan, Business Plan) include bundled benefits as described on the invoice or written order confirmation issued at the time of purchase. By requesting remote Services, you expressly authorize us to access your device remotely for the limited purpose of providing the requested Services and acknowledge the inherent risks associated with remote access.
In compliance with Ohio law (including Ohio Administrative Code 109:4-3-05 under the Consumer Sales Practices Act), upon your request or at our discretion, we will provide an oral or written estimate before beginning repairs or services. If an estimate is provided, we will not exceed it by more than 10% without your prior consent. You have the right to request a written estimate at any time prior to work commencing. Work will only proceed with your authorization.
Our annual subscription plans provide discounted or unlimited access to certain Services. Benefits are for personal/residential use (or small business use for the Business Plan) and are non-transferable.

We monitor usage discreetly. If usage exceeds fair use, we may:
For transactions qualifying as a "home solicitation sale" under Ohio's Home Solicitation Sales Act (ORC 1345.21 et seq.) — generally, sales of consumer goods or services over $25 personally solicited and contracted at your residence or away from our regular place of business — you have the right to cancel without penalty until midnight of the third business day after signing the agreement. Separate written notice of this right will be provided when applicable. For other transactions (e.g., remote, online, or at our facility), our standard refund/cancellation policy in Section 8 applies.
We warrant our labor for 30 days from the service date. If the same issue recurs due to our workmanship, we will remedy it free of charge.
Parts carry only the manufacturer's warranty, if any.
ALL SERVICES AND PARTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "WITH ALL FAULTS." TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY OHIO LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SPECIFIC SERVICE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

Upon termination of a subscription, unused benefits are forfeited (except prorated refund in fair use cases and except where prohibited by law).
We may update these Terms with notice via email, website, or invoice. Continued use of Services constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in courts located in the county of our principal place of business in Central Ohio.
